I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Belatacept? Is Belatacept safe for nursing mother and child? Does Belatacept extracts into breast milk? Does Belatacept has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Belatacept influence milk supply or can Belatacept decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of belatacept during breastfeeding. The manufacturer recommends avoiding nursing if belatacept is given. Because the drug's half-life is 8 to 10 days, it may be more than a month after a dose before the drug is absent from breastmilk.
