Limited information indicates that maternal doses of 1-(2-(2-Hydroxy-3-(propylamino)propoxy)phenyl)-3-phenyl-1-propanone up to 900 mg daily produce low levels in milk. If 1-(2-(2-Hydroxy-3-(propylamino)propoxy)phenyl)-3-phenyl-1-propanone is required by the mother it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding. Until more data become available, 1-(2-(2-Hydroxy-3-(propylamino)propoxy)phenyl)-3-phenyl-1-propanone should be used with caution during breastfeeding, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
