I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Water O 15? Is Water O 15 safe for nursing mother and child? Does Water O 15 extracts into breast milk? Does Water O 15 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Water O 15 influence milk supply or can Water O 15 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

The International Commission on Radiological Protection states that breastfeeding need not be interrupted after administration of oxygen 15 radiopharmaceuticals because of the isotope's short half-life.[1]
