Is Edrophonium Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Edrophonium? Is Edrophonium safe for nursing mother and child? Does Edrophonium extracts into breast milk? Does Edrophonium has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Edrophonium influence milk supply or can Edrophonium decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of edrophonium during breastfeeding. However, because of its short half-life and quaternary ammonium structure, it is unlikely to be excreted into breastmilk or orally absorbed by the infant. Administering the drug just after breastfeeding and waiting 2 to 3 hours before breastfeeding again should avoid any adverse reactions in the infant.
