I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Astra W 36095? Is Astra W 36095 safe for nursing mother and child? Does Astra W 36095 extracts into breast milk? Does Astra W 36095 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Astra W 36095 influence milk supply or can Astra W 36095 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Limited data indicate that rather large amounts of Astra W 36095 are excreted into breastmilk. Because of the relative lack of data concerning breastfeeding during maternal Astra W 36095 therapy, exclusively breastfed infants should be carefully monitored if this drug is used during lactation, possibly including measurement of serum levels to rule out toxicity if there is a concern.
