Is Tocainida Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Tocainida? Is Tocainida safe for nursing mother and child? Does Tocainida extracts into breast milk? Does Tocainida has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Tocainida influence milk supply or can Tocainida decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Limited data indicate that rather large amounts of Tocainida are excreted into breastmilk. Because of the relative lack of data concerning breastfeeding during maternal Tocainida therapy, exclusively breastfed infants should be carefully monitored if this drug is used during lactation, possibly including measurement of serum levels to rule out toxicity if there is a concern.
