Answer by DrLact: About 5-(p-Toluoyl)-1-methylpyrrole-2-acetic acid usage in lactation

Because of the low levels of 5-(p-Toluoyl)-1-methylpyrrole-2-acetic acid in breastmilk and its short half-life, it is unlikely to adversely affect the breastfed infant. However, because there is no published experience with breastfeeding during 5-(p-Toluoyl)-1-methylpyrrole-2-acetic acid use, other agents may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
