I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Ciba 7057-Su? Is Ciba 7057-Su safe for nursing mother and child? Does Ciba 7057-Su extracts into breast milk? Does Ciba 7057-Su has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Ciba 7057-Su influence milk supply or can Ciba 7057-Su decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

If Ciba 7057-Su is required by the mother, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding. Intense diuresis with large doses may decrease breastmilk production.

Ciba 7057-Su Possible Effects in Breastfeeding

Relevant published information on Ciba 7057-Su was not found as of the revision date. Intense diuresis with thiazides and thiazide-like diuretics, fluid restriction and breast binding have been used to suppress postpartum lactation.[1][2][3] The added contribution of the diuretic to these measures, which are effective in suppressing lactation, has not been studied. There are no data on the effects of diuretics on established, ongoing lactation.
