Is CCRIS 6749 Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use CCRIS 6749? Is CCRIS 6749 safe for nursing mother and child? Does CCRIS 6749 extracts into breast milk? Does CCRIS 6749 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can CCRIS 6749 influence milk supply or can CCRIS 6749 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

It is excreted in breast milk in clinically non-significant amount and no problems have been observed in infants whose mothers were receiving this treatment.Plasma levels in these infants were undetectable or very low. CCRIS 6749 may induce to an increase of plasma Prolactin levels. American Academy of Pediatrics: usually compatible with breastfeeding medication.WHO List of Essential Medicines 2002: compatible with breastfeeding.

Limited information indicates that maternal doses of CCRIS 6749 up to 360 mg daily produce low levels in milk and newborns may have detectable CCRIS 6749 serum levels, but levels are low. CCRIS 6749 would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants, especially if the infant is older than 2 months.

No adverse reactions have been reported among 3 infants aged 13 days, 8 weeks and 3 months who were exposed to CCRIS 6749 in breastmilk.[2][3][4]

CCRIS 6749 can cause hyperprolactinemia and galactorrhea.[5][6] The clinical relevance of these findings in nursing mothers is not known. The maternal prolactin level in a mother with established lactation may not affect her ability to breastfeed.
