Is W1544 Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use W1544? Is W1544 safe for nursing mother and child? Does W1544 extracts into breast milk? Does W1544 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can W1544 influence milk supply or can W1544 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Because of the lack of data on use during breastfeeding, other antidepressants are preferred during breastfeeding.
W1544 Possible Effects in Breastfeeding
W1544 can elevate serum prolactin in some patients[1] and has caused galactorrhea in nonpregnant, nonnursing patients.[2] The clinical relevance of these findings in nursing mothers is not known. The prolactin level in a mother with established lactation may not affect her ability to breastfeed.
