Is Lubiprostone Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Lubiprostone? Is Lubiprostone safe for nursing mother and child? Does Lubiprostone extracts into breast milk? Does Lubiprostone has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Lubiprostone influence milk supply or can Lubiprostone decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of lubiprostone during breastfeeding. The manufacturer reports that the drug and its metabolite are undetectable in rat milk and would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in a breastfed infant. Monitor the breastfed infant for diarrhea.
