I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Etoricoxib? Is Etoricoxib safe for nursing mother and child? Does Etoricoxib extracts into breast milk? Does Etoricoxib has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Etoricoxib influence milk supply or can Etoricoxib decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Indicated for treatment of Arthritis, Arthrosis and Gout. Acts by blocking cyclooxygenase enzyme (COX-2) On date of latest update relevant data concerning breastfeeding were not found. Because a high protein-binding capacity, excretion into breast milk seems highly unlikely. In spite of this, it is recommended the use of other anti-inflammatory medication known to be safer while breastfeeding.
