Answer by Dr. Ru: About Intralesional Bleomycin usage in lactation

It is a cytostatic agent that has been locally used in intralesional injection for the treatment of warts, cheloid scars and acne. Because it has been shown to appear in appreciable amount in the blood another option should be chosen. Drug is cleared from the body after 6 elimination half-life time. Resuming breastfeeding is likely safer after 24 hours of pump-and-dump period.
