Resin is extracted from roots of plant. Commission E of German Ministry of Health authorizes its use for treatment of wharfs. It is cytotoxic: do not apply it on extensive areas to avoid systemic absorption, and thoroughly wash hands after use. Highly dangerous when orally taken. Avoid using it on the breast.
