I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Teclothiazide? Is Teclothiazide safe for nursing mother and child? Does Teclothiazide extracts into breast milk? Does Teclothiazide has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Teclothiazide influence milk supply or can Teclothiazide decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Thiazide diuretic. Long-term treatment with diuretic drugs (particularly those Thiazides with long lasting effect and loop-acting drugs) may inhibit lactation. Use a lower dose as possible especially during the first postnatal month.
