I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Amyl Nitrite? Is Amyl Nitrite safe for nursing mother and child? Does Amyl Nitrite extracts into breast milk? Does Amyl Nitrite has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Amyl Nitrite influence milk supply or can Amyl Nitrite decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Vasodilator drug used as treatment of angina. It is an antidote of methahemoglobinemia and cyanide poisoning. Rapid and short-acting drug. Although unlikely, in case of a breastfeeding mother who would have taken this drug, it would be necessary for her to wait for few hours before resumption of suckling.
