Ophthalmologic prep for topical use in eye surgery. Minimal absorption. Harmless for the child except in case the mother shows systemic absoption symptoms: bradycardia, hypotension, suffocation, respiratory distress, transpiration. If it does occur it is advisable to skip at least one dose.
