Used for treatment of insomnia. It is excreted in non-significant clinical amount into breast milk. Foods with high fat content may delay absorption by the gut. A low oral bioavailability decreases the pass of it from the mother's milk to the infant's plasma, except in prematures or in the early neonatal period, when a higher intestinal absorption may occur. Not commercially available in Spain

Because of the low levels of N-(3-(3-Cyanopyrazolo(1,5-a)pyrimidin-7-yl)phenyl)-N-ethylacetamide in breastmilk and its short half-life, amounts ingested by the infant are small and would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants. No special precautions are required.
