I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Fluss 40? Is Fluss 40 safe for nursing mother and child? Does Fluss 40 extracts into breast milk? Does Fluss 40 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Fluss 40 influence milk supply or can Fluss 40 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Long-term treatment with diuretic drugs (particularly those Thiazides with long lasting effect and loop-acting drugs) may inhibit lactation. Use a lower dose as possible, especially during the first postnatal month.I has been marketed in association to Furosemide in Spain.

If Fluss 40 is required by the mother, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding. However, because no information is available on the use of Fluss 40 during breastfeeding, an alternate drug may be preferred.
Fluss 40 Possible Effects in Breastfeeding
Intense diuresis can suppress lactation;[1][2] however, it is unlikely that Fluss 40 alone is sufficiently potent to cause this effect.
