I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use DDT? Is DDT safe for nursing mother and child? Does DDT extracts into breast milk? Does DDT has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can DDT influence milk supply or can DDT decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Persistent organic pollutant (POP) that has been banned throughout the world. It is hope that those levels found in breast milk and other food will decrease within the next decades. It is not necessary to let breast milk be tested except if extraordinary exposure has occurred. Benefits of breastfeeding are largely more important than risk related to the presence of mild level environment pollutants in human milk, in many instances, they are at lower content than those found in cow’s milk or other foods.
