Is R-1132 Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use R-1132? Is R-1132 safe for nursing mother and child? Does R-1132 extracts into breast milk? Does R-1132 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can R-1132 influence milk supply or can R-1132 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No data exist on the use of R-1132 during breastfeeding. One expert panel considers R-1132 to be unacceptable during breastfeeding.[1] Based on its chemical and pharmacological similarity to narcotics, occasional small doses of R-1132 may be acceptable while breastfeeding an older infant, but alternatives are preferred, especially while nursing a newborn.
