I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Tegaserod? Is Tegaserod safe for nursing mother and child? Does Tegaserod extracts into breast milk? Does Tegaserod has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Tegaserod influence milk supply or can Tegaserod decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Pro-kinetic and selective agonist drug of 5-HT4 receptor of serotonin that may enhance bowel and colon motility. Indicated for treatment of irritable colon syndrome with predominant constipation. It may be a cause of diarrhea and flatulence. Not commercially available in Spain
