I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Zopiclone? Is Zopiclone safe for nursing mother and child? Does Zopiclone extracts into breast milk? Does Zopiclone has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Zopiclone influence milk supply or can Zopiclone decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Cyclopyrrolone with sedative effects, anxiolytic, amnesic, anticonvulsant and relaxing similar to those of benzodiazepines muscle.Used as a hypnotic for insomnia. It is excreted in breast milk in clinically non-significant amount. It can produce dependence and withdrawal symptoms if stopped abruptly. It is recommended to check for sedation or lack of appetite in infants.
