Limited data indicate that 3,7-Dimethyl-1-(5-oxohexyl)-1H,3H-purin-2,6-dione is poorly excreted into breastmilk. It would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants, especially if the infant is older than 2 months.
