Higher frequency of relapses several months after delivery have been documented. Breastfeeding doesn’t increase the risk of having new episodies of Multiple Sclerosis and some authors think it could lower that risk. Drugs used for this condition can be set appropriately to compatibilize it with Breastfeeding. Planning strategies for lessening the effect of steroidal megadose are feasible (see medication under specific item).
