I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Menses? Is Menses safe for nursing mother and child? Does Menses extracts into breast milk? Does Menses has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Menses influence milk supply or can Menses decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

When Breastfeeding is exclusive menses are usually missing. If menstrual bleeding occurs it does not represent any harm while suckling. Some mothers may complaint of increased nipple sensibility. Some times the baby nurses less often possibly due to a change on milk’s flavor.
