Is AMI-25 Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use AMI-25? Is AMI-25 safe for nursing mother and child? Does AMI-25 extracts into breast milk? Does AMI-25 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can AMI-25 influence milk supply or can AMI-25 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

AMI-25 is a complex of iron oxide and dextran, similar to iron dextran. It is not expected to pose a toxic risk to a nursing infant. If AMI-25 is required by the mother, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding. However, because there is no published experience with AMI-25 during breastfeeding, other agents may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
