I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Terconazol? Is Terconazol safe for nursing mother and child? Does Terconazol extracts into breast milk? Does Terconazol has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Terconazol influence milk supply or can Terconazol decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Systemic absorption through skin or vaginal mucosa is not significant. Wash hands thoroughly. Avoid using it on the breast or cleanse before nursing.

Vaginal Terconazol has not been studied during breastfeeding. Other antifungal agents may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant
