I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Eudyna? Is Eudyna safe for nursing mother and child? Does Eudyna extracts into breast milk? Does Eudyna has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Eudyna influence milk supply or can Eudyna decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?
Eudyna has not been studied during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should probably be avoided after oral use. Because it is poorly absorbed after topical application, it is considered a low risk to the nursing infant.[1][2][3] Ensure that the infant's skin does not come into direct contact with the areas of skin that have been treated. Only water-miscible cream or gel products should be applied to the breast because ointments may expose the infant to high levels of mineral paraffins via licking.[4]
A review of adverse reaction reports on retinoids causing a breast reaction submitted to a French pharmacovigilance center found 1 case of gynecomastia was associated with topical Eudyna use.[5]
