I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Purifilin? Is Purifilin safe for nursing mother and child? Does Purifilin extracts into breast milk? Does Purifilin has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Purifilin influence milk supply or can Purifilin decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No untoward effect has been described. Check-up for irritability, insomnia or tachycardia.

Because of the relatively high levels in milk and a previous report with theophylline, occasional stimulant effects in infants should be anticipated in breastfed infants. No severe adverse reactions are expected. Amounts in milk can be minimized by avoiding breastfeeding for 3 to 4 hours after a dose.
