Is Spiriva Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Spiriva? Is Spiriva safe for nursing mother and child? Does Spiriva extracts into breast milk? Does Spiriva has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Spiriva influence milk supply or can Spiriva decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Although no published data exist on the use of Spiriva, its use produces negligible maternal serum levels and any drug in breastmilk would not be absorbed by the infant. The risk to the breastfed infant of maternal Spiriva inhalation is small.
