Question

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use BA 679BR? Is BA 679BR safe for nursing mother and child? Does BA 679BR extracts into breast milk? Does BA 679BR has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can BA 679BR influence milk supply or can BA 679BR decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Answer by DrLact: About BA 679BR usage in lactation

Although no published data exist on the use of BA 679BR, its use produces negligible maternal serum levels and any drug in breastmilk would not be absorbed by the infant. The risk to the breastfed infant of maternal BA 679BR inhalation is small.
