Is Solustin Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Solustin? Is Solustin safe for nursing mother and child? Does Solustin extracts into breast milk? Does Solustin has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Solustin influence milk supply or can Solustin decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Limited information indicates that maternal doses of Solustin up to 1.4 grams daily produce low levels in milk and would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants,[1] especially if the infant is older than 2 months. However, if withholding nursing during therapy is elected, breastfeeding can be reinstituted 24 to 48 hours after the last dose.
