Is KTC 1 Safe in Breastfeeding
Question
I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use KTC 1? Is KTC 1 safe for nursing mother and child? Does KTC 1 extracts into breast milk? Does KTC 1 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can KTC 1 influence milk supply or can KTC 1 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

The amount of KTC 1 in milk is insufficient to treat tuberculosis in the breastfed infant. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other professional organizations state that breastfeeding should not be discouraged in women taking KTC 1.[1][2][3]
