I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Rifamycin AF/ACPP? Is Rifamycin AF/ACPP safe for nursing mother and child? Does Rifamycin AF/ACPP extracts into breast milk? Does Rifamycin AF/ACPP has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Rifamycin AF/ACPP influence milk supply or can Rifamycin AF/ACPP decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

The amount of Rifamycin AF/ACPP in milk is insufficient to treat tuberculosis in the breastfed infant. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other professional organizations state that breastfeeding should not be discouraged in women taking Rifamycin AF/ACPP.[1][2][3]
