Is Daptomicina [Spanish] Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Daptomicina [Spanish]? Is Daptomicina [Spanish] safe for nursing mother and child? Does Daptomicina [Spanish] extracts into breast milk? Does Daptomicina [Spanish] has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Daptomicina [Spanish] influence milk supply or can Daptomicina [Spanish] decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Limited and somewhat inconsistent information indicates that Daptomicina [Spanish] produces very low levels in milk and it would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants. No special precautions are required.

A mother nursing (extent not stated) a 5-month-old infant received intravenous Daptomicina [Spanish] 500 mg and ertapenem 1 gram once daily for 28 days to treat a pelvic infection. No adverse events were noted in the infant during the treatment or follow-up examination. A woman nursing a newborn was given Daptomicina [Spanish] 500 mg intravenously once daily for 14 days. No adverse effects were noted in the infant during therapy and for 7 days after the end of therapy.[2]
