I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use UNII-NWQ5N31VKK? Is UNII-NWQ5N31VKK safe for nursing mother and child? Does UNII-NWQ5N31VKK extracts into breast milk? Does UNII-NWQ5N31VKK has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can UNII-NWQ5N31VKK influence milk supply or can UNII-NWQ5N31VKK decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Limited and somewhat inconsistent information indicates that UNII-NWQ5N31VKK produces very low levels in milk and it would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed infants. No special precautions are required.
UNII-NWQ5N31VKK Side Effects in Breastfeeding
A mother nursing (extent not stated) a 5-month-old infant received intravenous UNII-NWQ5N31VKK 500 mg and ertapenem 1 gram once daily for 28 days to treat a pelvic infection. No adverse events were noted in the infant during the treatment or follow-up examination. A woman nursing a newborn was given UNII-NWQ5N31VKK 500 mg intravenously once daily for 14 days. No adverse effects were noted in the infant during therapy and for 7 days after the end of therapy.[2]
