Is Procain Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Procain? Is Procain safe for nursing mother and child? Does Procain extracts into breast milk? Does Procain has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Procain influence milk supply or can Procain decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of Procain during breastfeeding. Based on the low excretion of other local anesthetics into breastmilk and the short half-life of Procain, a single dose of Procain during breastfeeding, such as for a dental procedure, is unlikely to adversely affect the breastfed infant.
