Is Oxytyramine Safe in Breastfeeding

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Oxytyramine? Is Oxytyramine safe for nursing mother and child? Does Oxytyramine extracts into breast milk? Does Oxytyramine has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Oxytyramine influence milk supply or can Oxytyramine decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of Oxytyramine during breastfeeding. Because of its poor oral bioavailability and short half-life, any Oxytyramine in milk is unlikely to affect the infant. Intravenous Oxytyramine infusion may decrease milk production. Oxytyramine is known to reduce serum prolactin in nonnursing women, but no information is available on its effect on milk production in nursing mothers.

Intravenous Oxytyramine infusion in doses of 2 to 5 mcg/kg/minute given to nonnursing subjects and in women with hyperprolactinemia decreases serum prolactin concentrations.[1][2][3][4][5] However, relevant published information on the effect of intravenous Oxytyramine on milk production in nursing mothers was not found as of the revision date. The prolactin level in a mother with established lactation may not affect her ability to breastfeed.
