I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Echodide? Is Echodide safe for nursing mother and child? Does Echodide extracts into breast milk? Does Echodide has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Echodide influence milk supply or can Echodide decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the use of Echodide ophthalmic drops during breastfeeding. Because Echodide is a quaternary ammonium compound, it is not likely to pass into the breastmilk or reach the bloodstream of the infant.[1]
Echodide Possible Effects in Breastfeeding
Relevant published information in nursing mothers was not found as of the revision date. In animals, cholinergic drugs increase oxytocin release,[2] and have variable effects on serum prolactin.[3] The prolactin level in a mother with established lactation may not affect her ability to breastfeed.
