I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Ethanaminium, 2-((diethoxyphosphinyl)thio)-N,N,N-trimethyl-, iodide? Is Ethanaminium, 2-((diethoxyphosphinyl)thio)-N,N,N-trimethyl-, iodide safe for nursing mother and child? Does Ethanaminium, 2-((diethoxyphosphinyl)thio)-N,N,N-trimethyl-, iodide extracts into breast milk? Does Ethanaminium, 2-((diethoxyphosphinyl)thio)-N,N,N-trimethyl-, iodide has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Ethanaminium, 2-((diethoxyphosphinyl)thio)-N,N,N-trimethyl-, iodide influence milk supply or can Ethanaminium, 2-((diethoxyphosphinyl)thio)-N,N,N-trimethyl-, iodide decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?
No information is available on the use of Ethanaminium, 2-((diethoxyphosphinyl)thio)-N,N,N-trimethyl-, iodide ophthalmic drops during breastfeeding. Because Ethanaminium, 2-((diethoxyphosphinyl)thio)-N,N,N-trimethyl-, iodide is a quaternary ammonium compound, it is not likely to pass into the breastmilk or reach the bloodstream of the infant.[1]
Relevant published information in nursing mothers was not found as of the revision date. In animals, cholinergic drugs increase oxytocin release,[2] and have variable effects on serum prolactin.[3] The prolactin level in a mother with established lactation may not affect her ability to breastfeed.
