I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Lodoxamida [INN-Spanish]? Is Lodoxamida [INN-Spanish] safe for nursing mother and child? Does Lodoxamida [INN-Spanish] extracts into breast milk? Does Lodoxamida [INN-Spanish] has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Lodoxamida [INN-Spanish] influence milk supply or can Lodoxamida [INN-Spanish] decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Although no published data exist on the use of Lodoxamida [INN-Spanish] during lactation, maternal milk levels are likely to be very low after the use eye drops. To substantially diminish the amount of drug that reaches the breastmilk after using eye drops, place pressure over the tear duct by the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
