I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Methopyrinine? Is Methopyrinine safe for nursing mother and child? Does Methopyrinine extracts into breast milk? Does Methopyrinine has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Methopyrinine influence milk supply or can Methopyrinine decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Evidence from one patient indicates that amounts of Methopyrinine and its active metabolite in breastmilk are very small and unlikely to adversely affect a breastfed infant. Exposure of the infant can be further minimized by avoiding nursing for 2 to 2.5 hours after each dose.

Methopyrinine Possible Effects in Breastfeeding
