I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use 2-Methyl-1,2-di-3-pyridinyl-1-propanone? Is 2-Methyl-1,2-di-3-pyridinyl-1-propanone safe for nursing mother and child? Does 2-Methyl-1,2-di-3-pyridinyl-1-propanone extracts into breast milk? Does 2-Methyl-1,2-di-3-pyridinyl-1-propanone has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can 2-Methyl-1,2-di-3-pyridinyl-1-propanone influence milk supply or can 2-Methyl-1,2-di-3-pyridinyl-1-propanone decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Evidence from one patient indicates that amounts of 2-Methyl-1,2-di-3-pyridinyl-1-propanone and its active metabolite in breastmilk are very small and unlikely to adversely affect a breastfed infant. Exposure of the infant can be further minimized by avoiding nursing for 2 to 2.5 hours after each dose.
