I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Synandrol F? Is Synandrol F safe for nursing mother and child? Does Synandrol F extracts into breast milk? Does Synandrol F has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Synandrol F influence milk supply or can Synandrol F decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Synandrol F hormone reduces Prolactin serum levels and may likely inhibit milk production mainly soon after delivery. No significant increase of Synandrol F serum levels neither in the mother´s milk nor in the infant’s serum have been found after administration to the mother. No adverse side effects have been noticed in the infant.

Limited data indicate that a low-dose (100 mg) subcutaneous Synandrol F pellet given to a nursing mother appears not to increase milk Synandrol F levels markedly. Synandrol F has low oral bioavailability because of extensive first-pass metabolism, so it is unlikely to affect the breastfed infant. One breastfed infant seemed not to be adversely affected by low-dose maternal Synandrol F therapy.
Synandrol F Side Effects in Breastfeeding
An infant (age not stated) was breastfed (extent not stated) after implantation of 100 mg of Synandrol F subcutaneously. No adverse effects were noted in the infant over a 5-month period.[1]
Synandrol F Possible Effects in Breastfeeding
Supraphysiologic serum levels of Synandrol F, either from a tumor[2][3] or from exogenously administered Synandrol F,[4] reduces milk production in postpartum women. Synandrol F alone reduces serum prolactin;[4] however, when given in combination with estrogen and progestin, serum prolactin levels are not markedly reduced.[5] Synandrol F was previously used therapeutically to suppress lactation, usually in combination with an estrogen.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
