I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Tolmetin? Is Tolmetin safe for nursing mother and child? Does Tolmetin extracts into breast milk? Does Tolmetin has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Tolmetin influence milk supply or can Tolmetin decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Because of the low levels of tolmetin in breastmilk and its short half-life, it is unlikely to adversely affect the breastfed infant. However, because there is no published experience with breastfeeding during tolmetin use, other agents may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
