Question

I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use UNII-O43472U9X8? Is UNII-O43472U9X8 safe for nursing mother and child? Does UNII-O43472U9X8 extracts into breast milk? Does UNII-O43472U9X8 has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can UNII-O43472U9X8 influence milk supply or can UNII-O43472U9X8 decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Answer by DrLact: About UNII-O43472U9X8 usage in lactation

No information is available on the clinical use of UNII-O43472U9X8 during breastfeeding. Because UNII-O43472U9X8 is a large protein molecule with a molecular weight of about 150,000, the amount in milk is likely to be very low and absorption is unlikely because it is probably destroyed in the infant's gastrointestinal tract. Until more data become available, UNII-O43472U9X8 should be used with caution during breastfeeding, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.[1] The manufacturer recommends that breastfeeding be discontinued during UNII-O43472U9X8 therapy.
