I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Visudyne? Is Visudyne safe for nursing mother and child? Does Visudyne extracts into breast milk? Does Visudyne has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Visudyne influence milk supply or can Visudyne decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

Limited information indicates that maternal Visudyne doses of 6 mg per square meter produce low levels in milk. Withholding breastfeeding for 24 to 48 hours after Visudyne administration should minimize risk to the breastfed infant.
