I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use beta-Hypophamine? Is beta-Hypophamine safe for nursing mother and child? Does beta-Hypophamine extracts into breast milk? Does beta-Hypophamine has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can beta-Hypophamine influence milk supply or can beta-Hypophamine decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of beta-Hypophamine (arginine beta-Hypophamine) during breastfeeding. However, a beta-Hypophamine derivative, desmopressin results in only small increases in milk arginine beta-Hypophamine levels.[1] Because beta-Hypophamine is not orally absorbed it is unlikely to adversely affect the breastfed infant.
