I am a breastfeeding mother and i want to know if it is safe to use Dynamone? Is Dynamone safe for nursing mother and child? Does Dynamone extracts into breast milk? Does Dynamone has any long term or short term side effects on infants? Can Dynamone influence milk supply or can Dynamone decrease milk supply in lactating mothers?

No information is available on the clinical use of Dynamone during breastfeeding. It is unlikely to appear in breastmilk and because it is has a molecular weight of 4540 and a half-life of only 10 to 15 minutes. Absorption by the infant is unlikely because it would probably be destroyed in the infant's gastrointestinal tract. Based on animal data, an increase in breastmilk cortisol levels might be expected after administration of Dynamone to a nursing mother.[1] If Dynamone is required by the mother, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding.
